The base image is a painting I completed earlier (Discriminator v Generator) I combine this with the style image – Wassily Kandinsky’s ‘Oben und Links’ 1925. Using a convolutional neural network, AI algorithm the digital output image is created. From here I pick up the paint brush and go to work painting the image, of course I add and subtract elements as I see fit and in accordance with the narrative I wish to convey.
